The lifeguarding class is open to any one over the age of 15 years. Participants must be able to perform numerous physical tasks and be able to swim a combination of 300 yd’s. This class is an American Red Cross Life Guarding course. At the end of the class participants will receive the following certifications:

Life Guarding CPR AED First Aid Emergency Oxygen Administration Preventing Disease Transmission

A current Red Cross Lifeguard textbook and re-usable breathing barrier are required for course. If you have your own mask and book, you pay $100 for the course. If you would like to purchase a book and mask at time of registration costs are as follows: Book - $45, Mask - $15.

You may take the 8 hour CPR/First Aid certification course separately for only $50. You may also challenge the lifeguard certification course if you have already taken the course before and feel that you can successfully complete a written exam and rescue skills exam for only $50.
